On many threads, it's common to see people trying to link back to their farm. Often what we see is one of these two links:

http://apps.facebook.com/farmtown/play/

http://apps.facebook.com/farmtown/?ref=bm&cid=bm

Neither of these two links will take anyone else, to your farm.

I know of two methods to find your farm ID:

Method #1:
1. Take a snapshot of your farm, using the ingame camera
2. Go look at your pictures in Facebook (Click on Profile, Click on Photos)
3. Find the picture you just took of your farm.
4. At the bottom of the picture will be:
   
5. Share this photo with anyone by sending them this public link:
   ....facebook.com/photo.php?pid=2587674&l=26352f2ec0&id=588355893

The URL to link to your farm should look like:

http://apps.facebook.com/farmtown/play/?farm_id=

your farm ID needs to be appended to the end of the above line.

• If using Internet Explorer, make sure your Status Bar is on (It's on by default, if it's off - you turned it off, and should know how to turn it back on),
• In Facebook, click on the Profile link, near the upper left corner.
• Scroll down, if needed, and look on the left-hand side, to the Friends section
• Put your mouse over the ## of friends, or the See All
• In the Status Bar, in the lower left of the screen, you should see:
  "http://www.facebook.com/friends/?id=####&view=everyone"

The URL to link to your farm should look like:

http://apps.facebook.com/farmtown/play/?farm_id=

Your farm ID needs to be appended to the end of the above line.

Go to the Slashkey Forums, if you found this link; you already know how to get to the forums.

Click the "Quick Links" menu link at the top of the forums.

Midway down, is "User Control Panel".

Click the entry: "Edit Signature". If you have not created a signature, this could say "create signature" (I vaguely remember it saying something else - until I created my signature).

You can type anything you like, and it will be included in your signature.

To create a link back to your farm, follow the information above and then type this line into your signature:

http://apps.facebook.com/farmtown/play/?farm_id=#####

(Where ##### is your farm ID)

Replace the ##### with your Farm ID.

"your farm ID# is the same as your Facebook ID #"

Method #1 - With Pictures:

Step 1: Take a snapshot of your farm, using the ingame camera

Step 2a: Look at your pictures in Facebook, click on Profile:

Step 2b: Click on Photos:

Step 3: Find the picture you just took of your farm.

Step 4a: At the top of your browser, in the address bar. The URL will end with the photo ID (pid) and your farm id:

Step 4b: At the bottom will be:
"Share this photo with anyone by sending them this public link:
http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=2896499&l=9054acc274&id=588355893"

Your Farm ID is the last series of numbers (in my example, 588355893).

Step 5: The URL to link to your farm should look like:

http://apps.facebook.com/farmtown/play/?farm_id=

your farm ID needs to be appended to the end of the above line.

Thus my Farm ID is: http://apps.facebook.com/farmtown/play/?farm_id=588355893
